AUDITIONS FOR THE LIVING STORYBOOK TOUR AUGUST 25, 2012

We are pleased to announce auditions for the 35th Anniversary tour of The Living Storybook. The play will be Wind in the Willows.The Stokes County Arts Council wants to move the Storybook tour up this year to mid October. So rehearsals will begin in early September at South Stokes HS.Please note that we’ve lowered the actor age to 9 so that some of our younger students can audition for the Vermin Crew (they are the comic bad guys of the show).There are really good parts for teens, too- singing and non singing.We’ll post some of the script in the weeks ahead. Please pass the word about auditions.

Where: South Stokes High School Auditorium
When: Saturday, August 25th, 2012 10:00AM to 1:00 PM

Needed:Actors—ages 9-Teens, to perform in all of Stokes County’s Elementary Schools! Plus two public performances at South Stokes

H.S.Performers may be asked to read from a script and sing a simple song

All Cast Members will receive two excused absences and are responsible for making up any missed school work
